Today morning the National Unity Platform led by the president went to the Uganda Human Rights Commissioners as they were summoned since 2018 when they took the case to the UHRC. Kyagulanyi says after security agencies blocked over 20 of his music concerts and went on to confiscate his music equipment, arrested and tortured many of their colleagues plus denying most of them the right to earn a living just because of his political affiliation.
He adds that they were appearing five years later as the constitution provides the entitlement to free earing they appeared to the commission to get their fair hearing on justice of his refusal to perform. Kyagulanyi says it is not fair to wait for all those years to hear a case that they brought and the commission is doing nothing to help them and their case.

As he(Kyagulanyi) was saying all this, the Chairperson of the commission busted out on him asking him to stop demeaning the commission with his statements and he free to withdraw his complaint because he was only making personal statements against the commission.
There was a moment of exchanging words with the NUP president and the UHRC Chairperson as Kyagulanyi claimed he was not even given a chance to say a word in the commission as she also continued to stop him from saying any word but the exchange went on. Kyagulanyi finished talking how the chairperson herself mocked the victims of the missing people and with the kind of attitude she showed in the commission he went on to say that he has withdrawn my complaint as the Chair directed him to leave calling the security to help her do it.
