During the burial of one Pascal Ssekasamba a supporter to the National Unity Platform and a good friend to number of NUP members and leaders including leaders Robert Kyagulanyi the party president topping the list. As the ceremony happened a lot of comedy was performed by the president of the NUP along with his party member Hon. Abed Bwanika Member of parliament of Kimanya as he was challenging Kyagulanyi on his violent style of dealing with issues in the party.
Bwanika says no leader should ever treat their party members like the way Kyagulanyi did with Hon. Mpuuga which was disgracing his name as the commissioner of parliament. As all this happened, the Greater Masaka Journalist Association has today come out with new claims of more violent acts by the NUP gang this time not on the on its members but on them the journalists.
These journalists have decided to come out complaining about being buttered by NUP president security persons who escorted him on that day to Lwengo. They are claiming an apology from the National Unity Platform president Robert Kyagulanyi and his party of the NUP. The journalists promise to boycott any function that will be prepared by the Party anywhere near Masaka city unless they produce an apology from the party and its president. This warning comes after the National Unity Platform had just released it list of places where it is going to be touring the country for the second time o what the termed as the NUP second country wide tour second phase.
