They agreed with the police to notify them on each and every bit of movement they will be making to help the police solidify on the security of the party president and its members along with its supporters.
A s soon as all these agreements were reached on, the National Unity Platform has now announced that they are fully embarking on the road to finish what they started.
The tour will continue on with Mukono on Wednesday and the week will end with Masaka on Friday and then the next week will start with Mityana on Tuesday and all this was agreed on after showing them other pictorial evidence of other political groups like the PLU who are left putting up these same rallies.
After the meeting, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu also put out a post on his social medias to solidify this information to the public that the they are back on the road and the public that they are hitting back to the road.
“Here is our adjusted program for Mukono, Masaka and Mityana districts. The Police claimed that the venues we had initially booked are not convenient, even when other political groups have been using them. They even declined us using the Liberation Square in Masaka City which has been hosting most political events.
Anyway, in the greater interest of ensuring that our events happen successfully, we have made these adjustments and secured new venues. We hope they will not come up with other excuses.” He tweeted.
