National Unity Platform (NUP) insists that it will continue activities despite new orders
As Uganda Police through the spokesperson Fred Enanga halts the planned National Wide consultative meeting by National Unity Platform after an accident that happened as Hon Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu was heading to Masaka and claimed lives of 3 individuals, The LOP has confirmed the next appearance is to still move on as planned.
“Yesterday we received a letter from Frank Mwesigwa who is the head of operations in Police regarding the Mityana activity saying we have no issue with you but do connect with the DPCs which we have been always doing, and in a short while then Luke Owoyesigire release a statement and the Fred Enanga but there are two contradicting statement but we request police to engage us since they have our numbers” – Joel Ssenyonyi Stated
“I think Police should focus on investigating to establish the right cause of the accident because we also interested in knowing is it someone who was joining us or a motorist who was on his way to somewhere because people cause accident everyday” – Joel Ssenyonyi noted
