The Buganda caucus has had a meeting today after the trending video of speaker Anita Among talking about the Baganda in the parliament that their numbers should be sabotaged and that they should mobilize the other members to make sure of that.
The caucus led by member of parliament Butambala Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi have come out to ask the speaker of parliament to stop the hate speech, things are getting
out of hand by saying what she said in parliament.
The move to move and merge UCDA to MAAIF has caused a very big alarm especially in the Baganda because it is a cause that is supposed to move all coffee to belong to the agriculture department and is supposed to be controlled by one entity.
Many are claiming this move is set to make the Central region more and more poor.
According to the statements made be the speaker during yesterday’s seating in a clips where she was heard saying “Make sure those Baganda don’t get numbers!”.
The Buganda caucus have asked the speaker to come out an apologies for making such tribalistic statements in the August house.
