Bobi Wine Speaks Out: Resisting Madness Amid Police Blockade

The Uganda Police has informed the National Unity Platform members through Frank Mwesigwa to call offer their planned weekend activities of Mobilization that was schedule to happened in Bugweri, Pallisa and Soroti as they carry out their National wide Tour.

Bobi Wine as the National Unity Platform President has tweeted upon receiving the latter from Uganda Police and in conclusion he stated that “They are pushing us to a point where we must Resist all this madness!”

The party president in his statements he stated as follows.

“Ahead of our planned activities in Bugweri, Pallisa and Soroti this weekend, the partisan police is through Frank Mwesigwa has yet again blocked our mobilization activities! While other political parties and actors continue to have their activities including processions and rallies, the regime is always looking for any excuse to block us! We have done everything to remain civil and non-violent. They are pushing us to a point where we must RESIST all this madness! #FreeUganda

Of the past, Bobi Wine tour western Uganda and the turn up was good and received a warm welcome from the citizens where he also had to meet a gentleman that ran on it his car and the social media had to name him “Nsi”

The party had also request to Use Kololo Independnce Grounds but this was also turned down by Police and they were seeking to use the ground as they celebrate 4yeasr of the National Unity Platform. The party spokesperson as well as the Leader Of Opposition Mr. Joel Ssenyonyi insisted that they are still waiting for the ground on any given date that it will be free.
