The Ebonies actress Evelyn Namulondo has showed interest in running for the Makindye West Member of parliament seat on the National Unity Platform ticket in the 2026 general elections.
Its alleged that Namulondo has already presented her desires to the National Unity Platform top leadership and as of the current 11th Parliament, Allan Ssewanyana is currently holding the seat.
The actress was also seen involving in the Party activities and rallies and also acquiring the leadership knowledge at the party’s school of leadership at Kamwokya that was recently launched by the Party President.
The said seat is also in intrest by the current speaker of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Zaharah Luyika, and David Musiri that left Allan Ssewanyana to run for the past election.
Bobi Wine is also a close friend to Namulondo and the family as well.
