VIDEO: HAJJI BULWADA DONATES ACRES OF LAND TO EVICTED PEOPLE IN LUBIGI.

A lot of people have been seen in various videos all over the internet crying following their eviction from Lubigi some of them being aged women who are now stranded and have no where to go after their evictions and breaking down their homes.
Many of these evicted people have been seen complaining of the unfair treatment which has left them homeless, some of these people were found resting in tents that’s that were also donated to them by a couple of people.
Today, former residents of Lubigi have seen an angel in gentleman for now known as Hajj Hassan Bulwadda, a businessman, of Bulwadda estate in Kyanja has now offered the biggest donation of them all maybe something that is supposed be done by the government.
Hajj Hassan Bulwadda, has donated five acres of land to the displaced Lubigi wetland evictees whose houses were recently demolished by Nema. He handed over the land located in Nana village, Kikandwa Sub-county in Mityana District to Nansana Municipality RDC, Mr Shaffic Ali Nsubuga in the presence of a few victims and their leaders on June 19, 2024.
Adding remarks on this, he asked if there were more people out there who were willing give in a helping hand to this matter and add on what he just donated. This request also had the president of Uganda Mr Museveni to also give a hand to these people.
“Land is just the basic thing these people needed, I saw kids, mums all crying because they have no where to go and that is why I gave in this land, to add on the land I know it needs clean safe water, modern day toilets, infrastructures of which I know the president can provide those.” He spoke.
He also added that no one should really make this a political deed as nothing political influenced him to do it but the sorrow that the evicted people were going through prompted him to give them this land.
He also promised them that no one will ask for any coin to allow them occupy the land not even him that he is also willing to pay for the money that will help these people be transported along with their property, he will give them this money.
Nansana Municipality RDC, Mr Shaffic Ali Nsubuga thanked Hjja Hassan on the behalf of the people and warned the people of Nansana that whoever is caught destroying the wetlands or doing anything to endanger the wetlands, he she will be arrested.
